The MO HealthNet Division (MHD) covers the cost of non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services for eligible participants for medically necessary transportation if the participant does not have access to transportation services that are available free of charge. The participant must have an appointment for any medical treatment that is approved by MHD and the trip must be scheduled 2-3 days in advance depending on the county. To become a NEMT provider, contact MTM.
