MO HealthNet Coverage Ending for Some Services
Effective July 1, 2026, MO HealthNet will stop paying for acupuncture, chiropractic and physical therapy services under the Complementary Health and Alternative to Chronic Pain Management program. After June 30, 2026, MO HealthNet will not pay for these visits.
Also effective July 1, 2026, MO HealthNet will stop paying for chiropractic services. After June 30, 2026, MO HealthNet will not pay for any visits to a licensed chiropractor.

We may be able to help you with certain medical costs. If you are approved for help, you will have healthcare coverage through Missouri Medicaid (MO HealthNet). This healthcare coverage is different than Medicare and it can help with benefits not normally covered through that program, like nursing home care and personal care services.
NOTE: If you used to have healthcare coverage through MO HealthNet but you no longer do, you will need to apply for MO HealthNet again.
