The Missouri Department of Social Services’ (DSS) Rural Health Transformation Office (RHTO) is preparing to release an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Strategic Minor Renovations program, a key initiative under the state’s ToRCH (Transformation of Rural Community Health) Care model.
The Missouri Department of Social Services (DSS) is inviting rural healthcare providers, community-based organizations, and other stakeholders to participate in a series of informational webinars supporting Missouri’s implementation of the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP), a major federal initiative designed to strengthen healthcare in rural communities.
The Missouri Department of Social Services (DSS) today announced that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has approved $216 million in Year 1 (through September 30, 2027) funding for the state’s Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP), marking a major step forward in strengthening and stabilizing rural health care across the state. The funding launches full implementation of Transformation of Rural Community Health (ToRCH) Care – Missouri’s statewide transformation strategy.
