Ambulance Hot Tip Regarding Completed Trip Tickets
Trip Tickets (electronic or paper) are used by ambulance providers to record information on each ambulance run. To ensure timely reimbursement for services, all trip tickets must meet the documentation requirements outlined in 19 CSR 30-40.375 and follow all policies outlined in the Ambulance Provider Manual.
Failure to maintain proper documentation may result in claim denial or post-payment recoupment.
