I'm pregnant, now what?

For your health and the health of your baby it is important for you to keep seeing your doctor throughout your pregnancy. This care can help you have a healthier baby, and may reduce your chances of having your baby early.

Pregnant women get extra benefits, so let MO HealthNet know that you are pregnant as soon as possible. To report a pregnancy, participants can reach out to the Family Support Division Info Line at 855-373-4636, visit their local Resource Center or they can submit information through the Report A Change online form.

You may also be able to get case management services to help you during your pregnancy. To find services near you, visit the MO HealthNet provider search tool(link is external), select case management under “Specialty” and enter your zip code.

What does MO HealthNet cover?

MO HealthNet covers a wide variety of services to eligible, pregnant participants. Coverage is available for full Medicaid benefits for the duration of the pregnancy and for one year following the end of the pregnancy.

  • Vision services
  • Hearing aids and testing
  • Diabetes treatment & self-management
  • Podiatry (foot care) services
  • Physical therapy
