Effective October 1, 2024, the manufacturers Ibsa Pharma Inc. and Yaral Pharma Inc have chosen to no longer be part of the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program (MDRP). Both Ibsa Pharma Inc. and Yaral Pharma Inc. manufacture levothyroxine products along with other agents. As a result, MO HealthNet will no longer be able to pay claims for these manufacturer's products for dates of service on and after October 1, 2024. It is very important to know about this upcoming modification and prepare by ordering a different manufacturer for your impacted patients for MO HealthNet claims processing. MO HealthNet cannot provide overrides for these manufacturers while the manufacturer chooses to not participate in the MDRP.
