MO HealthNet Coverage Ending for Some Services

Effective July 1, 2026, due to budget constraints, the MO HealthNet Division (MHD) is terminating reimbursements for the below services. These changes apply to all MO HealthNet participants statewide.

  • MHD will no longer reimburse for acupuncture, chiropractic, and physical therapy services provided under the Complementary Health and Alternative to Chronic Pain Management program.
  • MHD will stop reimbursements to licensed chiropractors for services provided to MO HealthNet participants.

Services provided after June 30, 2026, will not be covered or reimbursed.
