MO HealthNet Division (MHD) would like to remind providers that, per state regulation (13 CSR 70-98.030), eligibility for ABA services requires a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder by a physician or psychologist.
MHD also encourages providers to review the resources at the Missouri Autism Guidelines Initiative webpage, especially the Best Practice Guidelines for Screening, Diagnosis, and Assessment.
