MO HealthNet is conducting a survey regarding the implementation of the Substance Use-Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities (SUPPORT) Act's prescription drug monitoring program mandate.
MO HealthNet covers services provided via Telemedicine. Telemedicine guidelines are reflected in the Missouri Code of State Regulations 13 CSR 70-3.330. MO HealthNet covers Telehealth services. MO HealthNet allows any licensed health care provider, enrolled as a MO HealthNet provider, to provide telehealth services if the services are within the scope of practice for which the health care provider is licensed. The services must be provided with the same standard of care as services provided in person.

The Missouri Code of State Regulations 13 CSR 70-3.190 Telehealth Services, established coverage for Telehealth Services through the MO HealthNet Division (MHD) program and specifies that Telehealth providers must be Missouri licensed. The provider can be located in a state that borders Missouri, but must be Missouri licensed and enrolled as a MHD provider.
